Americas Marketing DepartmentTM was founded by the principles of Darnaby & Associates, LLC. The founding principal of the business was that "great marketing should be made available to ALL businesses... regardless of size or stage of development." The major advertising agencies and consulting companies provide great advice, service, and products to large corporations. Americas Marketing Department was created to bring 3 things to mid size, early phase, and small businesses:

  1. major agency quality creative products,
  2. major consulting company marketing consulting and plans, and
  3. great prices!

Americas Marketing DepartmentTM is a one stop shop. We provide marketing products ranging from early stage marketing plans, to the development of all creative concepts, to execution of every element of the marketing mix. We operate retail showrooms that allow our clients to drop in any time. No appointments necessary to meet with our consultants and see our wide variety of demand creation products. We also have Account Manager Marketing Consultants that visit our clients at their request. We make marketing easy for ALL businesses.

Americas Marketing DepartmentTM offers our clients the ability to "outsource" the entire marketing function, or supplement and support the existing marketing professionals. Our clients decide and we fit the need. Our focus is creating demand for our clients and we offer the flexibility, the strategic skills, the creative talents, and the reliable delivery of high quality marketing tools and products to get the job done.

Operating Philosophy:

The founder of Americas Marketing DepartmentTM has built a number of large and successful marketing organizations and businesses. He has worked on several of the biggest brands in the world; global brands that stretch across the consumer package goods, soft drinks, electronic, high tech, medical, agricultural, pharmaceutical, sports, and telecom industries. During his 30+ year career, he developed three key philosophies about the marketing of business that provide the foundation for the AMD approach.

FIRST: Successful businesses always follow three steps of equal importance:

  1. Do something great
  2. Get Caught at it
  3. Repeat steps 1 & 2

Providing a great product and service to customers is a critical step on the path to business success. However, it is not enough. There are thousands of great products commercialized every year that never get to second base. Businesses must take responsibility to ensure that their "brands" are getting caught at being great, especially with the target user of the product. Getting caught before, during, and after consumption is as important as providing a great product... and should get the same attention.
